Music has always played an important role in my life, if not THE ROLE in my life. I have played the piano as far back as I can remember. Growing up in a family of musicians and having parents, who are both piano teachers I cannot remember a time in my life without one or more pianos around. Yes, I am one of those kids, who grew up playing under a grand piano. And naturally I started to play as well. I have a brother, he of course plays the piano as well, but he is the only one in my family who pursued a career as a percussionist. He dared to leave our family's path of being a pianist so to speak and found his destiny in the world of percussion. I am very curious, which path of instrumentalists my niece will follow.

I also started to play the violin until I turned 17. But at a certain point I had to make a choice and I chose the piano over the violin. I then went on to study in Vienna, which still is my lovely hometome and spent two wonderful years living and studying in beautiful London. Since then I am a proud member of the teaching staff at the famous University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and am working as a freelance pianist in numerous chamber music collaborations, as a soloist, as a repetiteur, as a collaborative pianist, doing arrangements, and everything that comes along, I am inspired working with...

Musik hat immer schon eine wichtige Rolle, wenn nicht DIE Rolle in meinem Leben gespielt. Ich spiele Klavier seit ich denken kann. Nachdem ich in einer Musikerfamilie aufgewachsen bin, in der beide Eltern Klavierlehrer waren, kann ich mich an keine Zeit in meinem Leben erinnern, in der es keine Klaviere gab. Und ja, ich bin eines von den Kindern, die unter einem großen Flügel aufgewachsen sind. Da habe ich wie von selbst einfach angefangen zu spielen und nicht mehr aufgehört. 

Mein Bruder, der natürlich auch Klavier spielt, ist der einzige in unserer Familie, der die Welt des Klavieres zumindest beruflich verlassen hat und Schlagzeuger geworden ist. Wir sind alle sehr gespannt, für welches Instrument sich meine kleine Nichte entscheiden wird.

Ich habe bis ich 17 war auch Violine gelernt, aber es gab einen gewissen Punkt, an dem ich mich dann für das Klavier entschieden habe und es der Geige vorgezogen habe. 

Danach habe ich in Klavier Wien studiert, wo ich immer noch lebe und arbeite und zwei Jahr in London. Seitdem bin ich stolz, dem Lehrkörper der Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien anzugehören und arbeite freiberuflich als Pianistin in den verschiedensten Kammermusik Formationen, als Solistin, als Korrepetitorin, schreibe Arrangements und tobe mich kreativ mit allem aus, was mir Spaß macht und mich inspiriert.
